Latest Release in Yamaha's FSX Series Acoustic-Electrics

Yamaha's famed FG line of folk guitars has long represented incredible value and playability, a tradition furthered with the introduction of the FSX700SC. The FSX700SC is a small body version of FGX700SC but with big sound. This concert-type body shape along with its shorter string scale is great not only for young players but experienced singer/songwriters. Because FSX series has a deeper body depth, rich acoustic resonance is still present.

A compact and affordable steel-string with stage-ready System 55 electronics.

The FSX700SC features Yamaha's impeccable build quality with an added cutaway and a one-way System 55T piezo/preamp system that includes a tuner, three-band EQ and an adjustable mid frequency slider. It has solid Sitka spruce top, die-cast tuners and represents phenomenal value. This is a small-bodied guitar, offering full tone in a guitar shape that offers less bulk and is perfect for students, travelers and women.

Key Features
  • Solid Sitka Spruce top
  • Nato (Eastern Mahogany) back and sides
  • Nato neck with rosewood fingerboard
  • Rosewood bridge
  • Diecast Chrome tuners
  • Preamp System 55T 1 way, Piezo 3-band EQ, A.M.F (adjustable midrange frequency control) & built-in tuner
  • 25" scale length
  • Available in three colours: Natural, Brown Sunburst and Sand Burst

New from NAMM 2013: TC Electronic TonePrint Pedal

Rejoice, tone conjurers far and wide, it’s finally here! Demanded by the guitar community with a furious passion, the TonePrint Editor is finally official. And free, obviously. Yes, it took a while, and it'll take a little while longer until release. But we want to make sure things are just right, to satisfy even the most tone conscious effects-junkies out there. (you know who you are).

Sweet! But ... What Is A TonePrint?

In case you’ve been living under a rock or simply don’t really know what TonePrint is: TonePrint means signature effects. Basically, we took our very best effects and gave rock stars a chance to build their own custom versions of our most famous Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Flanger and Vibrato sounds as they use them live and in the studio. Then, we asked them to share their sounds with you, free of charge. That concept took the guitar world by storm, but musicians that are more into tweaking effects and into the nitty-gritty of how tone works kept asking: why can’t we make our own TonePrints? We could not agree more, so now, everyone can join the fun!

Ah, Got Ya! So What Does The Editor Do, Exactly?

The TonePrint Editor simply allows you to build a TonePrint pedal from the ground up. It puts you squarely at the helm of the character, behavior and sound of your chosen effect. And, though you have the most in-depth control ever in TC products, the UI is fun and intuitive, so you spend your time tweaking, not freaking.
Everything is up for discussion with the TonePrint Editor, from knob assignment, to the range of knobs to effect parameters behavior and effect values - you can customize the industry standard TC Electronic base sound into something only you can dream up.
Want to mimic the sound of that vintage effect unit you love but are afraid to take out on the road? Go ahead! Want to pay tribute to a classic tone you know and love but have not been able to capture just right? Here’s your shot! Or maybe you just want to craft a sound that fits your specific purpose or need just right? We got you covered! Our basic effects: Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Flange and Vibrato become a launchpad to some truly stellar tones!
