Marshall Launches the New SL-5 Slash Signature Model!

The SL-5C is an all valve 5 watt amplifier incorporating various features, but above all else, it includes that unique Slash tone.  Marshall Amplification worked closely with Slash himself after the success of the AFD100.  The SL-5C is an accessible amplifier that is ideal for home or studio use.

The SL-5C has two channels, Clean and Overdrive.  A single volume control for the clean takes you from the authentic Slash clean sound to the Marshall crunch.  The Overdrive channel, consisting of volume and gain, nails the AFD style and tone.  Both of the channels have been approved by Slash.

A master EQ section of Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence is included, as well as high quality custom voiced digital reverb.

-2 Custom Voiced footswitchable Channels - Clean & Overdrive (footswitch included)
-Green / Red Channel Status LED's
-Full EQ Section
-Presence Control
-Digital Reverb (footswitchable)
-High/Low Sensitivity Inputs
-Celestioon Vintage 30 Speaker

New Fender Acoustasonic Amps Combine Technology And Classic Style

Fender Acoustasonic guitar amplifiers are full-featured amps voiced specifically to deliver full, clear and resonant acoustic sound ideal for everything from powerful strumming to delicate passages. Compact, powerful and great sounding, they’re loaded with tonal innovations and versatile features designed for guitarists who need to take the sound of their acoustic artistry to a higher level.

The Acoustasonic 100 packs full acoustic resonance and crystal clarity into a lightweight (only 18 lbs.) amp with a new ultra-efficient 100-watt power amp, 8” foam-surround low-frequency driver and high-frequency tweeter. Its new Voicing control lets any guitar simulate the tonality of parlor, dreadnought and jumbo acoustics, or Voicing can be turned off for pure amp output response. For acoustic players who double on electric guitar, the Voicing control also has Blackface, tweed and British amp settings, which makes a second amp just for electric guitar unnecessary.

Other features include instrument and microphone channels with independent EQ and effects controls; new feedback elimination control with on/off switch for each channel; patented String Dynamics™ control that tames harsh treble notes; effects including reverb, delay, chorus, Vibratone, and more; XLR line out with level control and ground lift; USB connector for digital recording output (and possible future firmware updates); built-in kick stand for tilt-back positioning; strong five-ply plywood construction and optional two-button effects select footswitch.
